Jenna and Mark ByWard Market Engagement

I met with Jenna and Mark in the ByWard Market in downtown Ottawa for their engagement session. We walked around the Market, Major’s Hill Park and the National Gallery of Canada. I love that we were able to get a few photos with the Parliament in the background.

Although the setting and background was lovely, what I really loved was how great they were with each other. Looking at the photos, we can really feel how much they love each other and this is why I love doing what I do so much! This is such a special moment in their life, as they will only be engaged for another couple of months. I believe that one day, they will show these images to their grandchildren, alongside their wedding album, and their grandchildren will be able to feel the love that fueled their marriage, and hopefully be inspired to love genuinely.

I have a lot in common with Jenna and Mark and it is probably why we had such a great time photographing their engagement. Just like us, Jenna and Mark love spending time with each other and with their beloved dog and cats. They also love traveling and exploring. One of their favourite thing is to spending time together with their dog at their cottage in Price Edward County.

They are getting married in just under two months and I can’t wait to witness their love as they say I do! I am also excited about their reception venue because I love garden parties and they are getting married at the Billings Bridge Estate! It will be so fun and pretty! I can’t wait to photograph it all!! But most of all, I am so excited for them to become husband and wife and create memories and traditions for their family.
