Spring Arboretum Engagement Session

Last weekend was the perfect weather for Chelsea and James Spring Arboretum Engagement Session. After the cold winter, it was so nice to be able to go out and walk around the Arboretum. Chelsea laughed the whole session. Laughing, happy couple in love are my favourites and this is the best way to describe Chelsea and James. If their wedding is half as fun as their engagement session, it will be an amazing day!

The weather was so nice that the Arboretum was buzzing with people walking their dogs, other photographers photographing engagement sessions and a dozen of photographers with the biggest telephoto lenses I have seen in a while (600mm!) following a baby owl around the arboretum!

Although the parking lots were over-flowing to the streets, it was easy to find quiet corners to call our own. The Arboretum is so vast and has so many paths and trees that there is plenty of space for everyone! We also went to the Experimental Farm green house to spend some time in the perfect light! It is definitely one of my favourite place to photograph engagement session in the city because the light is always amazingly soft and flattering.

Chelsea and James’ outfits were perfect for the warm spring evening. Chelsea’s mint dress complimented perfectly her oval stone is minty turquoise engagement ring. James’ navy trousers, grey sport coat and brown shoes, complimented Chelsea’s dress perfectly. Although not too formal, it is definitely a classic look. They took our advice and they booked a nice dinner nearby on Preston right after their engagement session to take advantage of dressing up, and to make a night out of it!

Chelsea and James, you are both amazing and we cannot wait for your wedding in September 2019! With all the laughter you have together, I am certain you wedding will be absolutely perfect! We are so excited for what’s in store for you this year!
