When we met Meg and Will at the Westboro Starbuck, they instantaneously won our hearts. They came with their tiny puppy Indy and told us about their fairy tale inspired wedding at Le Belvedere in Wakefield. Their Beauty and The Beast inspired wedding was perfect for Meg and Will.
We were so excited for their wedding at Le Belvedere because we absolutely LOVE the venue and Wakefield. We have photographed weddings there before and everyone always have the best experience. The service and food are always outstanding!
Although we’ve been to the Belvedere many times before, we were excited to see the new garden house that opened a few weeks prior, where Meaghan was getting ready. The new space did not disappoint. Le Belvedere’s Garden House is perfect for the bride to get ready with her girls. Since it was designed with this purpose in mind, it has a large light room with natural light and mirrors for the girls to get their hair and makeup done before the wedding. The garden house is gorgeous and light and airy, the perfect location for our romantic, light and airy style of photography.
Meg and Will decided against doing a first look and instead, to see each other for the first time when she walked down the aisle. However, Meaghan chose to do a first look with her dad inside of the venue and it was such a touching moment. We love when our couples make the time in their timeline to do a first look with their parents.
In addition to Meaghan’s hair and dress fit for a princess, the details within the ceremony venue made it a fairy tale inspired wedding at Le Belvedere. I really loved how subtle and tasteful the details were. On the tables, they had clocks, books and tea cups, and their desert tables had cookies with Beauty and the Beast designs. I also LOVED their choice of tall florals on the tables designed by Love in Bloom.
One of our favourite moments of every wedding is when the bride and groom leaves the venue for a few minutes during dinner for sunset photos. Meg and Will’s wedding was no different. Le Belvedere has so many great locations for husband and wife portraits.
For the perfect end to a fairy tale inspired wedding at Le Belvedere in Wakefield, Meg and Will had their guests hold sparklers while they walked to the belvedere for their first dance surrounded by their wedding party holding sparklers.
