Thanks giving

I went back home for the holidays for my aunt and uncle 25th relationship anniversary, turned surprise wedding. It was great seeing everyone and being present for them as they tied the knot.

You may ask what does a surprise wedding looks like. For us it was a glorified anniversary party where the couple reads vows, put rings on each other’s finger and sign papers.

Although we didn’t attend any Thanksgiving dinner, there is still plenty I was thankful for this weekend. I was thankful to be able to be able to attend my brother’s birthday dinner and for the amazing food that night. I am thankful for the buzz surrounding my brother’s new craft distillery business and to have had an opportunity to visit his operation.

I am thankful for all the friends and family time I got over the long weekend, and for all the walks with the puppies in gorgeous surroundings, making me forget a little how cold it was!
