Scott and Emma got engaged on the first nice day of spring. Scott had planned a nice bike ride and pick nick, and proposed with a gorgeous custom made sapphire and diamond engagement ring.
We met at the arboretum on Sunday, after a few snow falls during the day, and it was FREEZING! Soon after arriving, they informed me that they wanted to have their engagement session at the arboretum, because it was the place where the proposal took place six short months prior. Aren’t they just the cutest?
After enjoying the gorgeousness of the Ottawa Arboretum and the freezing “crispness” that is this fall, we drove to the Corktown Footbridge to lock their custom “love lock” to the bridge. The view from the bridge is simply gorgeous, overlooking the Rideau Canal and the Chateau Laurier.
We couldn’t resist and finish the day with a nice stroll by the Rideau Canal. I will never get tired of the gorgeous Canadian fall colours!
