I had the best time at Amie and Bill’s Boldt Castle engagement session. In addition the be the most amazing setting for an engagement session, the journey to the Island was so fun! There really something to be said about packing your passport mid-week for a mini road trip to the US and ferry ride to the Boldt Castle Island, which is part of the Thousands Islands where we got married.
Actually, Amie and Bill are also getting married at the Ivy Lea Club in the spring and they stoped by the Ivy Restaurant on their way to the Boldt Castle before their engagement session for a late lunch. I was so jealous about their lunch date, but so excited that I will get to go back in six months or so to photograph their wedding day! It will be the fist time I return since our wedding and it will be so nice to spend time there the week before our third wedding anniversary.
The boat ride to Boltd Castle was pretty quick, but I love being on the water so much that it was such a nice treat to have the wind blowing in my face looking over the St. Lawrence River at the Castle growing nearer and nearer. I met Amie and Bill at the Castle and I was excited with Amie’s choice of outfit! She was wearing a white tule skirt from Bluish that I could not believe she had gotten from Indigo! I told my husband when I got home and got the same skirt in gray for my birthday!! I’m one lucky wifey!!
