Ankara: Instagram Adventure 

I had a really good time exploring Ankara, Turkey. Everybody have been telling me that Ankara is boring, but I though that similarly to Ottawa, there was a lot to see, and the views were simply breathtaking!

I will write a more thorough post next week, but for today, the adventure telling will begin with some Instagram captions.

Three planes and four airports later… Finally in Ankara!  Gorgeous view from my hotel room lit by the Turkish morning sun.

 It is crazy how you get gorgeous city views from anywhere in the city, this one is from the Botanical Park.

The Ankara Citadel was definitely the highlight of the trip. The 360 view of the city was the best view I have seen!

  
 I loved all the colours and details of the Mosques. 
The Susamli Simit was my favourite treat in Ankara.
  Ankara was so hot and sunny. I tried to stay in the shade, but still got too much sun!  On the way back through London, coming out of the clouds, Widsor Castle was the first sight of England I saw since moving back to Canada all these years ago!

  I couldn’t be in London and not have a nice cuppa tea, even if I was drinking it from the airport…

It was a great trip, but I am very happy to be back and cuddle my puppy who missed me ever so much!
