1. Le Belvedere

Le Belvedere is by far our favourite venue in the greater Ottawa area, and possibly all of Canada. Located in Wakefield, Quebec, it is only a short drive away from Ottawa. It has the best view, food and service of any wedding venue we have ever been to. These, along with the breath taking ceremony location, makes it THE BEST Ottawa Wedding Venue.

2. Stonefield

We love Stonefield Estate. It is a gorgeous wedding venue in Beckwith, near Ottawa. In addition the the gorgeous main barn, Stephanie and Steve built the most amazing all white wedding ceremony house. The bride and her maids can also get ready in the pretty farm house, before tying the knot in the prettiest country side setting. 3. National Art Center (NAC)

The National Art Center used to be an eye sore in the middle of Downtown Ottawa, but since the renovation a few years ago, it became one of the prettiest and best downtown Ottawa wedding venue. With the glass walls that were added in the remodelling, it created a modern light and airy wedding venue at the heart of Ottawa. We love the views of Chateau Laurier and the outdoor patio that allow for a ceremony with a view! We have photographed a few weddings and events at the NAC and alway have the best experience.

4. Aquatopia

Located just west of Ottawa in Carp, Aquatopia Conservatory is a very unique wedding venue. The venue is a large greenhouse filed with tropical plants. A perfect setting for a winter wedding that looks like a lush rain forest, but you will love Aquatopia all year long!

5. Twenty Two

Twenty Two is an amazing wedding venue located on the Twenty Second floor of the Downtown Ottawa Westin Hotel. It is a great location for a wedding reception with the best view of Parliament and the most amazing sunsets, which leads to great portraits on the top floor patio.

6. Evermore Weddings & Events

Evermore is another great venue that makes our list of Best Ottawa Wedding Venues and is located in Almonte. This historic barn was once the childhood home of James Naismith, the creator of basketball. We love the finishes and the permanent event tent beside the barn that allows for a great ceremony rain option and lounge area on wedding days.

7. Nature Museum

In addition to great expositions that includes dinosaurs, the Nature Museum architecture is second to none. So many little girls have dreamed of getting married in a Castle, and at the Nature Museum, you can! You can also have your cocktail hour in one of the expositions, which is so unique!

8. Chateau Laurier

Another gorgeous Castle in the heart of Downtown Ottawa is Chateau Laurier. This Fairmont Hotel property is beautiful inside and out. If you have ever dreamed of getting married in a castle, Chateau Laurier is the venue for you! Located at 1 Rideau Street, you cannot be more downtown than that, which allows for great bride and groom portraits in the nearby park.

9. Horticulture Building

Located in Lansdowne Park, the Horticulture Building is a blank canvas perfect for large weddings.

10. Lago

We love that Lago is on the Canal overlooking Dows Lake and its upstairs room with its big white walls. We ourselves considered it for our own wedding before finding the perfect venue on the St Lawrence in the Thousand Islands.
