Gabrielle and David Experimental Farm Engagement
Gabrielle and David’s engagement at Experimental Farm in Ottawa was my favourite to date! It was a PERFECT day. The temperature was lovely, the light was amazing and it was so nice spending the evening with two great friends. I met David a few years ago and was then introduced to Gaby over dinner with friends. In last couple of years I’ve been spening more time with Gaby talking about business (she owns a Bikini blog) and their upcoming wedding.
I was so excited when David proposed last year in Barbados after being together for almost a decade. Gaby was so happy! He chose to propose at their favourite surf spot in Barbados. They had visited the countries a few times and it had become their favourite place in the world! Gaby is a self proclaimed mermaid and she feels right at home on Barbados’ beaches.
Given their love for surf and the beach, we looked into many river side locations for their engagement; however, no Ottawa location really has a beachy feel. So they decided to go totaly in the other direction choosing the fields of the experimental falm for their engagement session. There were so many favourites with this session! We spent quite a bit of time in the fiels because the light was amazing and the colour of the wheat complimented Gabrielle’s hair to the perfection!
I wanted to post their engagement session earlier, but I had to stop blogging for a few weeks as I transitioned the website, blog and company over to the Barnett Company. But this week is a perfect timing to share their engagement story ad Gaby and David in Barbados this week preparing for their WEDDING on Saturday!!! I am SO excited for them and how they will marry their favourite person in their favourite place on the planet!
