Jenna and Mark Billings Estate Wedding

This historic Billings Estate wedding was a beautiful celebration. Jenna and Mark were meant for each other. After meeting in Ottawa, they realized that both of their family had cottages close to each other at the Sand Banks. They now spend all their free time at the cottage with their dog Bria (who also came to the wedding for a few bride and groom portraits) surrounded by family.

I met Jenna and her girls at her friend’s house where she was getting ready. I love how she already had all the details ready for me to photographed. The bride and bridesmaids were getting their makup done dressed in cute matching flowery robes that matched the blue colour of the wedding. After her bridesmaids had put on their dress, they helped Jenna in her wedding dress before we left for the first look.

Jenna and Mark chose to do a first look at the Billings Estate before. She was hiding behind a big tree as he walk slowly towards her to see her for the first time as his soon to be wife. After photographing the bride and groom portraits, we did the wedding party photos on the Billings Estate grounds. The ceremony took place at the church where his family has been going for years in Gloucester, just east of Ottawa. The reception was so much fun with a posting pig and delicious banana boats for desert from Meatings. So delicious! Check them out!!
