Documenting motherhood starts with photographing the pregnancy and the newborn days when the baby is only a few days old. The first few days with a new baby is such a challenging time for parents, but it is also the time when the baby grows up the fastest. 

We recommend scheduling your maternity session around 30 weeks pregnant, while you are showing, but hopefully still comfortable. For the newborn session, within two weeks of life the baby is the sleepiest, but we can photograph newborn sessions within the first few months of life no problem. 

We have a lifestyle photography approach and we typically photography your baby in your home and your maternity session either outside or at your home. If you are looking for posed studio photos of your newborn all wrapped neatly in cute baskets, we are not the photographers for you, but know many amazing studio photographers that we would be happy to recommend. 

We used to be wedding photographers. Our couples started to have babies and it became a priority for us to be able to continue to serve them and document their growing families.

Then we had babies of our own and experienced the importance of documenting all the small and big moments both with photo and video.
