This hidden gem in the heart of the city is located just steps from Dow’s Lake. Which means you can get a variety of romantic images with both coloured trees and water views. 

3. Major’s Hill Park

Major’s Hill Park is another beautiful location for your fall engagement session in Ottawa. This stunning park located in the heart of downtown has a panoramic view of the city and is surrounded by a variety of trees that turn into beautiful hues in the fall. We particularly LOVE the view of Parliament and the Chateau Laurier. From there, it is only a short walk to the Market, museums or downtown to get some variety in your engagement photo gallery. 

4. Andrew Haydon Park

A favourite West-End location of ours in the Fall is Andrew Haydon Park. It is located along the Ottawa River, providing stunning waterfront views that are perfect for your engagement photos. The park is also surrounded by trees, which means you’ll have plenty of opportunities to capture the fall foliage in your photos. The paths are great to walk your dog (or your pig as we saw a family doing just that once). One of the great things about Andrew Haydon Park is the variety of backdrops available for your engagement photos.
