Capturing Your Wedding Day Details: A Guide to Amazing Photos

Keeping all of these items together in one location makes it easier for your photographer to capture all the details without missing anything. Don’t forget to gather the groom’s details as well. Clean your ring

Be sure to have your details cleaned and polished beforehand. For example, having your engagement ring cleaned and polished can make it sparkle in photos. Additionally, having your shoes and jewelry polished and ready to go ensures that they look their best in photos.

Embrace the florals

When you speak with your florist about your wedding flowers, be sure to ask if it would be possible for the bouquets and boutonnieres to arrive at least a few hours before the ceremony and before your photographer’s arrival. Additionally, ask your florist if they can provide some loose flowers for your photographer to incorporate into the detail photos. This can add a pop of color and texture to the photos and create a cohesive look throughout your wedding album. Even if you have all the best details, it is important to make time in your wedding schedule for your photographer to capture all your wedding details. It takes time to style all your details. We recommend setting aside 30-60 minutes for your photographer to style and photograph this part of your day. Obviously, the more details you have, the longer it will take to document them all.
